Best Coffee Grinders
Every product here has its own review page with what we like, what could be better and who it suits.
Electric Espresso Grinders
- Baratza
Baratza Encore ESP ZCG495
This review points to a grinder for espresso buyers who want simple adjustment and easier upkeep. The main trade-off is that owner feedback points to retention, clumping, and occasional chute clogging, so the workflow is not fuss-free.
Breville Smart Grinder Pro BCG820BSS
Best for buyers who want one programmable grinder for espresso through French press. It offers flexible dosing and direct grinding into several containers, but the trade-off is that coarser grinds and some espresso baskets can be less cooperative.
Fellow Opus conical burr grinder
Opus makes sense for home brewers who want one grinder for multiple methods. The trade-off is the repeated complaints about retention, mess, and a plastic body that some owners feel is less premium than more metal grinders. It is best if you can live with those trade-offs.
MiiCoffee DF54 single-dose grinder
The DF54 suits home espresso and filter coffee buyers who want a compact single-dose grinder with 54mm flat burrs and stepless adjustment. The main trade-off is the recurring clogging complaint, so it fits shoppers who care more about workflow and footprint than silence or a spotless record.
- Turin Grinders
Turin DF64 Gen 2 Espresso Grinder
This DF64 Gen 2 review points to a grinder that can be worth it for home espresso users who want stepless control, 64mm flat burrs, and a low-retention single-dose workflow. Pros are the build quality praise and flexible setup; cons are owner complaints about noise, clogging, and durability. If you are comparing alternatives, this belongs on the shortlist.
Electric Filter / General Grinders
- Baratza
Baratza Encore
The Baratza Encore suits shoppers who want a straightforward grinder for filter coffee and pour overs, with a wide grind range and a simple setup. The main trade-off is that owner feedback points to mess, noise, slower grinding, and limited espresso performance.
Manual Espresso Grinders
- 1Zpresso
1Zpresso J-Ultra Manual Espresso Grinder
This manual grinder suits people who want precise manual espresso adjustment and strong owner-reported consistency. The pros and cons are clearer than the headline specs, so the main question is whether the manual workflow fits your routine.
